I am reupholstering the seat of an old mission style chair with a slip-spring seat made by Stomps-Burkhardt. The five springs are mounted on metal bars so there is no need for webbing -- one spring is in the center; two on each side. They seem to be in good condition. I am wondering if the top should be rounded or flat? The piece was not upholstered when I got it. Does anyone know about these?
Its really a difficult work. Better you just give this work to some other professionals or get a good services from them. You try is good but there wont be a good finishing like them and use a good and best upholster for this.
